Why not make the frames the same size as the fiberwool plates? Then you don't need to cut them. The panel would be a little bit bigger but who cares?

if i want to switch between my monitors to a headphone profile in Sonarworks then for sure i need to add Sonarworks plugin on master chain. so when i am in a headphone profile then, do am i listening to double calibrated sound in my headphones(Monitor's profile then in headphone's profile?) or i am listening to pure headphone sound with a Sonarworks headphone profile only? Please let me know if someone know this.

They're not studs in the ceiling, they're joists. the fact this guy doesn't know the difference does not inspire confidence. I also watched him construct a panel in another video. The quality of construction was amateur at best. I honestly don't know why ADAM Audio would want to be associated with this.

In a commercial room, roughly 30 by 50 feet square, and a 10 feet ceiling, would these work as well? And how far apart would we hang them?

bought A7V as an upgrade from KRK (3x the price) and I want to tell people not to be scared if they sound weird initially, mine sounded broken with lots of "scratches" in the sound so I did roughly 8 hours of white noise not at max level because I would have had complaints but loud enough you wouldn't want to be in the room (had no way to invert phases in my setup but that's a smart idea you get a sound black hole instead of 2x the volume) the 1st hour I did like 20% volume to test if it changed something in the sound, it did "clean" it so I then increased to as loud as I could and let it run, they sound crystal clear now, one more thing I have to add because it scared me too, you must tweak them to your room using the rear switches or they will sound really weird I'm not a creator just an enjoyer of movie scores and amateur house deejay and PC gamer large desk speaker cornered by wall and shelves I read the user manual and applied the recommended rear switch settings for my configuration and sound went from extreme changes wether I leaned forward or backward and a very "hollow" distant sound to amazing quality if the sound changes from rave level to whisper quiet if you move 2 inches it's a sign your settings aren't correct if it doesnt change much you're good you'll know for sure it was obvious to me...one more thing get ready for a shock when you put your headphones back, because the ones I used for 10 years now sound horribly bad compared to a7v studio monitors

When hanging vertical, Is it better to have the horizontal pieces longer or the vertical pieces longer for structural stability of the frame? In this video he does vertical pieces longer overlapping the horizontal pieces. Is there a reason for this?

Thanks for the great advice! I have a few (possibly stupid) questions: 1. Is it recommended to fix the phase issues for every single track of a mix individually or for the overall mixed track? (I am asking because Mr. Mayfield only shows a single track in this example that looks like a complete mix) 2. If the answer to question 1 is "for each track individually", is it also recommended to fix the phase issues for *vocal* tracks individually? 3. Is anyone familiar with alternatives to the RX Audio Editor's Phase Algorithm shown in this video to fix phase issues? I saw that RX 11 Standard version starts at 330€ which is a bit much for a hobby - home studio producer, given you are only interested in the phase fixing functionality. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks in advance :)

Is there a device I can buy that can switch between voicings quickly rather than having to walk behind my speakers each time? Barefoot has that switch that comes with their speakers. I would like something similar for my A8H's.

come on... the monitors are too expensive and they force us to use sonarwork... KRK offers a free calibration and Adam audio forces us to spend more money. it's really disappointing how they bleed our wallet!👎👎👎👎👎

Any advice? .... got a small untreated room, having major issues around 140Hz cause of the low ceiling (about 7 feet high). Gonna get some wall panels and clouds made. Should I make 5cm thick panels with 5cm gaps behind them or make them 10cm and hang against the walls? Also, what's the best density I should get? Note, with the clouds I can also make them 10cm and hang them with a 10cm gap, but the walls are an issue.
